Buying ebooks in the English-speaking world

As the number of desirable ebooks on the US and UK ebook stores increases, the huge number of English readers in India / Europe / Australian and New Zealand / South Africa / the Commonwealth and the rest of the Anglosphere, are starting to gripe about territory restrictions on ebooks. Looks like this problem is going to be a huge driver for a wave of piracy in the next six months, a wave that will undoubtedly have a very significant backwash effect on the US and UK markets.
